PepsiCo - Minya
Factory Egypt successfully delivered a comprehensive firefighting and alarm system for a major industrial complex spanning 50,000 square meters. The project involved a full upgrade and expansion of the existing fire protection infrastructure to enhance safety, reliability, and compliance with applicable standards. This included upgrading the pump room capacity from 1500 GPM to 2000 GPM to meet increased fire demand requirements, as well as supplying and installing two fire water tanks (300 cm each) to ensure adequate water storage and system redundancy. The scope also covered the supply and installation of a complete firefighting network serving warehouses and production lines, including all necessary piping systems, valves, and distribution points to achieve full operational coverage and efficiency.

Scope of Work
Challenges
- The existing pump room layout and infrastructure were not originally designed to accommodate higher capacity pumps, leading to space limitations and compatibility issues with existing systems.
- Limited installation space and site accessibility made it difficult to position and install large fire tanks without disrupting ongoing operations.
Solutions
- Redesigned the pump room layout to optimize space utilization.
- Selected high-efficiency pumps compatible with existing infrastructure.
- Reinforced piping and connections to handle increased flow and pressure.
- Conducted detailed site planning and logistics coordination.
- Used modular installation techniques to facilitate transport and assembly.
- Scheduled installation during low-activity periods to minimize disruption.
